There are several great coffee houses close to the Reed campus.

Funky Door: 28th and Holgate (walking distance from the Sports Center) map
First Cup Coffeehouse: "Up the hill" at 41st and Woodstock map
Gladstone Coffee: A bit further away, near 39th and Gladstone, but they serve beer and pizza in the evenings map

Commons: The Reed College dining hall is open to visitors, with affordable weekend brunch and dinner steps from juggling.
