The Portland Juggling Club was established in 1979, because why shouldn't there be a juggling club in Portland? Anyone, whether you're a hobbyist, a professional, or a beginner is welcome to stop by and hang out with us. Reed College has been our home for over eighteen years thanks to their incredible hospitality, and our willingness to provide their students with an excellent learning environment for their PE Juggling class.
The Portland Jugglers meet every Wednesday night at the Reed College Sports Center in the lower gym from 7-9pm, with exceptions during Reed's winter break, and during the summertime, when we meet on the lawn in front of the newly built Performing Arts Center.
The entrance we use to access the lower gym is the fire exit door directly across from the Performing Arts Center loading dock. Whenever entering or exiting, please make sure to leave the door propped open. You do not want to be that guy.
The Portland Juggling Festival is on its way! As usual, the festival will be held on the last weekend in September, the 25th-27th. Many workshops and fellow jugglers await you at the 2015 Portland Juggling Festival. Information about the Public Show and festival workshops will be posted at a later date.
Learning how to juggle can be difficult, but finding the resources to learn doesn't have to be hard. I've taken the liberty of compiling a list a websites that can help students and new members learn different props and tricks.
